Senior Who Benefits

Home health care is available to those who

  • are recovering from an illness or injury,
  • are disabled, or
  • Have a chronic or terminal illness.

The following is a list of the most common primary diagnoses for which patients are frequently treated under the Medicare home care benefit. This is not an all-inclusive list. In order to qualify for Medicare services, the patient must meet Medicare eligibility requirements and be in need of skilled care (intermittent nursing, physical therapy or speech therapy).

Neurological Diagnoses:
